Partly Cloudy With A Chance

Today

I’m grim and storming

Tomorrow, partly cloudy with a chance

Asked

too franticly, too frequently

What will you become?

The sun no sight for my sore

eyes, so bright it hurts until

all I crave

are clouds.

This

Where none of us are children

long enough to love it

and feeling

lost is all I see

ahead.

Tomorrow

partly cloudy with a chance

I hope I’ll find my way.

I didn’t know God saw in us a failed

attempt at heaven

I’d like

To prove us wrong
